A bee sting causes the same symptoms. The sting stimulates the immune system to relieve the inflammation caused by the BV, while relieving the symptoms of the rheumatic disease at the same time." Bee The Medicine Honey Bee Farm & Apitherapy Center
In hopes of learning harvesting techniques, having a connection with Nature, and wishing to normalize the practice of Apitherapy in the U.S., the goal was to have Honey Bees Hives, tours, and education workshops for physicians, students, and the public. "Bee The Medicine" started as a student interest club at Bastyr University in 2016. There was incredible interest and need for this modality and Dr. Gussak wishes to make it a reality. However, there is great public fear and coding obstacles. After 6 years of trying, I ask for help.
