I work with Nature, not against it.
As a Graduate of Bastyr University (class of 2020), my clinical interests includes decreasing unnecessary suffering cause by iatrogenicity, injury, chronic infection, trauma, and environmental toxicity by using a unique approach to each person. I deeply honor old-age medicine and incorporate this with modern medical knowledge. My primary role is to restore health and your body does the rest because it has an innate, healing intelligence that must be into account. This Vitalistic philosophy is based on four assumptions:
My goal is to maintain empathy as we walk shoulder-to-shoulder in our health journey. I have learned that what works for most people, seemed to not work for me and I became jaded by the conventional medical care systems, especially after working in a conventional hospital for 5 years before becoming a Naturopath. I vow to keep in mind your unique susceptibilities, treatment preferences, and health goals so that you may live long, well. As a note to those who are interested, I run a hybrid electronic and paper medical charting practice to better appeal to all generations, abilities and liking.
Outside of my private medical practice, I enjoy being in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest with my Husband, Jason, and our two German Shepards, Apollo & Amber. I have served as a Board Member for the American Apitherapy Society and have a deep interest in sharing Bee Sting Therapy (aka Bee Venom Therapy) with others as it has helped my health tremendously.
My passion goal is to open a Naturopathic Inpatient Center (like the former sanitoriums where people went to heal in the mountains with good food, sunshine, fresh air, and clean water 100 years ago). This Rest & Restoration (get it... R&R...) Mountain Lodge/ Wilderness Resort Destination would provide public access to healthy living regimens such as sauna, hydrotherapy, infrared-light therapy, solariums, sleeping outdoors, bee beds and bee hive inhalations, Pilates & yoga, Qigong, medically supervised fasting, and a clean food cafeteria. After all, 100% of our physiology is based on what we eat, drink, and breathe (Louise Edwards, ND, LAc).
Some things other things you should know about me:
"I just treat people.
My special interests are Iatrogenicity, Environmental Medicine & Apitherapy."
